- His common refrain – let the law take its course – is his armour for inaction. The courts took 26 years to deliver a hopelessly inept judgement on the Bhopal Tragedy. And it was the Congress government that escorted the main accused out of the country. His government is still “planning” to approach the Supreme Court for a review of that judgement. What has the law to do with cleansing his council of ministers? Inaction.
- Then, promptly, he brings a legislation to cap Nuclear Liability of Foreign (read US) Suppliers only (WHY not domestic suppliers?) so they can go scot free as INC did in the Bhopal Gas case! All this so he can “gift” India on a platter to Obama the sham when he visits in November. All this when the world watched how Obama has screwed BP for an oil spill whit NO LIFE LOST. Swift Action!
- It was his government that sent the CBI to file an affidavit to the effect that Quattrocchi was innocent in the Bofors scam case. What was the need?
- The IOA Chief came 1 year ago and threatened to withdraw the CWG for lack of progress on infrastructure. Yet, 40 days before the games, he appoints Bureaucrats & GOM who any way have been running things in the creation of infrastructure. He says ‘let the law take its course on allegation after allegation in the media – his ultimate armour for inaction. And India will pay the price for it all.
- His minister speaks against the GOI on Naxals being murdered by Gov forces. Inaction.
- The mining scams are perhaps even bigger that the 2-G scam in terms of value but HUGELY bigger in terms of strategic impact. And when Karnataka bans illegal exports, so the minerals atleast stay within the country, his Government IMMEDIATELY files an affidavit in the Supreme Court stating that the State Gov has no such authority!!! Swift Action.
- In his “longest serving PM” status, he presides over the total collapse of Kashmir law & order. His coalition government in Srinagar is a lame duck.
- Last but not the least, Manmohan Singh was a career bureaucrat and he is still one in nature – faceless, voiceless, and behind-the-scenes, propped up as a puppet by the more powerful, so that they can exploit his ‘clean’ image to line their own pockets. BUT HE KNOWS THAT AND ACQUIESCES which makes him corrupt at the core. As an accidental politician, he’s also an accidental accessory to the crime of misrule and corruption.
Manmohan Singh represents a new breed of corruption – one that uses personal honesty to seek votes and then preside over the misrule & loot of the country by anyone who can and cares to do so. He is India’s worst Prime Minister ever.
