Power politics is the name of the game at the global level. That’s a no-brainer.
Since WW2, the US has led with a failed challenge by USSR.
Now the Asian century has dawned. Population is no longer considered a liability but a dividend. So much so the Irish have even announced a programme to have more children!
The two leaders are China and India. BRICS started it’s “own” ‘world’ Bank. Now there’s talk of a BRICS Rating Agency that’ll succeed the western crooked rating agencies.
The Doklam ‘standoff’ was a show of both countries’ strengths. The outcome? Simple: Neither can attack the other without mutually assured destruction. A compromise was worked out as both China & India see that if they ‘team up’ they can rule and share the spoils.
The first step has been ascended. In 20 years, the Asian “axis” will be in place…. Russia, China, India and the stragglers Brazil and South Africa. This would be more powerful than USA and/or EU (NATO). Economically, they’d dwarf these ‘old’ axis and with Trump destroying USA for them, it’ll be easier than expected.
If you read this in 2050, and the Asian Axis is a reality, think of me!
