For how long must we eat the platitudes of these politicians?

I am angry, disillusioned and in deep despair!

It seems that the only Prime Minister with guts we ever had was Indira Gandhi. Or maybe I should say Field Marshal Manekshaw. He dismembered Pakistan and gave birth to Bangla Desh. Which, till now, is a friendly neighbour.

Modi came in making ludicrously false promises. I voted for a nincompoop MP just to give Modi a strong mandate. He said he had a 56″ chest and promised a proper “reply” to terrorism emanating from Pakistan. Amongst other equally ridiculous promises – e.g. Rs 15 Lakhs in my bank account.

But it is my foolishness that I believed him – but like me, Indians had no choice! The Anti-National congress was never an option. At least give this political spinner a chance I thought.

But what have we got – on the main reasons for voting a useless MP just to get Modi into the PM’s chair? Here is the shortlist as far as I am concerned:

Demonetisation that devasted common people and screwed up India’s economy.
A surgical strike meant more for marketing spin and had zero impact on Pakistan.

After the #Uri wake up call atleast I thought this 56″ Modi would drop all pretence of dovish behaviour and deliver on his promise. But No! I’m wrong – Modi is a dove despite all his rhetoric!

After #Phulwama he’s still “thinking” and “leaves it to the Armed Forces”??? No, Sir, the buck stops with you. This does NOT absolve you of your responsibilities!

Either he and/or the Armed Forces are totally incompetent. How come you don’t have ready, well thought through, canned responses to unleash when triggered like #Phulwama?

How come you don’t even “think” of pre-emptive and pro-active aggressive steps after suffering for 70 years? Are you spineless?!

Any number of defence analysts have said that piecemeal reactions will never change the situation. But the cowards in GOI can’t have any of it. I suppose they (like Maun Mohan Singh) want to win the Nobel Peace Prize!

Instead, we have “sudden”, unprepared DeMo unleashed on the very people who supported you!

This puts the BJP alongside the ConGress as the most untrustworthy National Political Parties in India! And that is the reason for my deep despair! They are screwing Indians for personal glory & money all the time. For 70 years!

The anger amongst ordinary Indians is palpable. Yet the mandarins on TV continue to preach hate under the guise of peace as if people can’t see through. But Modi will do nothing as he’s perhaps aiming for the Nobel Peace Prize! Leet the country be “tolerant” of enemies of the state!

People’s patience had run out in 2014, that’s why you got our votes, Mr Modi. Don’t expect that in 2019. We’re fed up of your marketing spins. We want another Indira Gandhi & Kariappa combo. Till then both BJP and Congress can sit out on the bench. Even a kichadi GOI will be tolerated. At least they’ll fight amongst themselves and not launch attacks on their voters like you did!

Every day of “let’s think this through” before “responding” will only strengthen our resolve to vote you out!

Nothing less than a dismemberment of Pakistan into 4 pieces will now do. I pray for India.
The nation is ready for that war! Are you, Mr Modi?
