Of Rats and Humans

Why experiments on Rats don’t always work in Humans:

In an experiment in a lab studying Rats and their application to Humans, they constructed a hill with 7 tunnels, each of which could be gated to reach a room that had food.

The Rats and the Human were to enter the compound each day and search for the food to survive the day.

Day1:

Rats went down tunnel #1 and found no food.

Rats went down tunnel #2 and found food.

Human went down tunnel # 3 and found no food.

Human went down tunnel # 6 and found no food.

Human went down tunnel # 1 and found no food.

Human went down tunnel # 2 and found food.

Day2:

Rats went down tunnel #2 and found no food.

Rats went down tunnel #1 and found no food.

Rats went down tunnel #6 and found no food.

Rats went down tunnel #7 and found no food.

Rats went down tunnel #3 and found food.

Human went down tunnel # 2 and found no food.

Human went down tunnel # 3 and found food.

Day3:

Rats went down tunnel #2 and found no food.

Rats went down tunnel #1 and found no food.

Rats went down tunnel #6 and found no food.

Rats went down tunnel #7 and found no food.

Rats went down tunnel #4 and found food.

Human went down tunnel # 3 and found no food.

Human went down tunnel # 4 and found food.

Day4:

Rats went down tunnel #4 and found no food.

Rats went down tunnel #2 and found no food.

Rats went down tunnel #3 and found no food.

Rats went down tunnel #5 and found food.

Human went down tunnel # 5 and found food.

Day5:

Rats went down tunnel #5 and found no food.

Rats went down tunnel #4 and found no food.

Rats went down tunnel #3 and found no food.

Rats went down tunnel #6 and found food.

Human went down tunnel # 6 and found food.

Day6:

Rats went down tunnel #6 and found no food.

Rats went down tunnel #7 and found no food.

Rats went down tunnel #1 and found food.

Human went down tunnel #7 and found no food.

Then the Human began to repeat tunnel #7 several times till he fell down in exhaustion.

After resting and “thinking”, with all his energy at his command, he started yelling at the Experiment Director:

You’ve made a mistake! It MUST be in #7 today! Why don’t you guys do your jobs properly!

He passed away decrying the decay in the work ethic

Moral of the story: Experiments on Rats don’t always work for Humans!

Or did I miss something? LOL.
