All news anchors shout and scream and they have very little to say in terms of intelligence. The repetition gets on ones nerves. “More ads than news”, I think that’s the mantra, these days.

Actually, I feel BBC, CNN too fall under Poor. Your survey doesnt allow me to choose that way. Also, HT I feel is deplorable. Again, your survey doesnt allow me to do.
Why I choose like this? The reason is straightforward. Media wants to put a veil on viewer’s eyes calling themselves Indpendent, Recent RadiaGate shows otherwise. Their bias is open and many times not even disguised. I will give only one example to back this: Coverage on Rahul Gandhi.
NDTV deplorable because it failed to act against barkha dutt despite Radia tapes. That creates doubt over ethical journalism. It drives viewers to believe that their news must be driven by special interests
BBC has wide coverage both with respect to the subjects(business,plitical, technology) range of formats (news, features, interviews, debates) and the gegraphical spread , is advertisement free and professional
TNN has very poor coverage and are very shrill. Few interviews , few citizen interaction, limited political new coverage
NDTV has better programming format but has an agenda and point of view that leads to a warped view and is dangerous

The news channels are extremely biased esp NDTV and CNN-IBN. Times Now is ruined by the pomposity of Arnab Goswami. Headlines Today is among the better ones with more toned down reporting.
TNN has a semblance of neutrality as pertains to current affairs while NDTV has become a courier of government propaganda and is highly biased in its reporting.I had stopped watching NDTV almost 2 years back and am not sure if it has changed or still remains a mouthpiece of the government and the neo-liberals
NDTV and CNN-IBN seem to be running a propagandist agenda, they are an appellate court in their own right, deplorable indeed.
Indian Channels are paid corrupt PR agencies of Congress & Corporates

BBC is professional (In news presentation), CNN IBN is OK for Indian news, and HT is more masala and less crux.
Their coverage is just plain stupid. On the top of it, they time and again indulge in self gratification. I find it an interesting exercise to counter their self gratification.

Again your survey doesnt allow me to choose. CNN is not unbiased. They are biased. HT is also biased. So is TNN. Unbiased news reporting is a myth in Indian MSM.
NDTV is the most biased news channel and after Radia Tapes also apperas to be in cohoots. There coverage on Kashmir,Army all seem to be biased

I would say that both TNN and HT are erratic in their credibility. CNNIBN is certainly biased and NDTV is certainly corrupt. I don’t get to see CNN and BBC as they are not available.
