It may seem counter intuitive that the INC would prefer a snap poll to letting a JPC find the real culprits in the 2G scam.
If you assume for the sake of the argument that a real probe will uncover the real culprits are the INC and its partner DMK themselves, then guess what happens to the electoral prospects of the INC and DMK in a later poll? Maybe they also know what’s happened in Bihar (results awaited).
A snap poll now may even result in INC getting fewer seats NOW. But later they will be DECIMATED if the truth comes out!
If that doesn’t explain INC’s preference to a snap poll then what does?
