@ArvindKejriwal7 – I watched with great interest and admiration your 1-hour hangout on Google+/Youtube and acknowledge you for so much clarity on princilples that will guide the new party.
However, you are making one fundamental goof in the strategy to build the party. While claiming that this is a peoples’ party and that candidates will be chosen in primaries, you speak of a Top-Down approach of first setting up a national council, then state and then district and lastly the block level units.
That is the opposite of a peoples’ party which should be bottom up. The leaders must be thrown up by the base, not the other way around.
I know you have “experts” that you listen to. But obviously they are moulded in the very system you want to change! This top down method – “appointing” people at the top and then slowly moving down will only replicate the system in all other parties!!!
I believe I know HOW a bottom up approach can be done in reality (practically) and quickly enough. I am prepared to share this with you too as I am an ardent believer in the principles you stand for.
However it will need a man with your vision, selflessness and commitment to first listen to what I have to say. Then it can be rolled out in 6 months flat.
