As long as we know that Humans are RESOURCES, there is no question of our growing population being a “disaster”.
The caveat is: Able and Powerful political leadership to empower the masses and make them usable resources.
The outlook: Bleak, given the mute, cowardly leadership at the helm today. I dont need to give evidence of this, since its there for all to see.
The problem: Leadership puts its own survival first, before India. Thats short sighted.
The legacy: Our well entrenched caste system with the worst of it being practised instead of it’s best.
The challenge: Will Indians acquire enlightened self interest, not narrow short term gains?
THAT is the real question, I think, not if demographics.
