First, it doesn’t get that it is already the party that Hindus will associate with, just like the Muslims will oppose it no matter what it does. There is no need to prove it any further.
Second, it has utterly failed to understand that Hindus dislike display of open hate, unlike the Muslims. There is no concept of “Jihad” in Hinduism.
Thirdly, the BJP has, in fact, not done anything for Hindus!
Let me briefly explain:
1. Why has the BJP not released Hindu Temples from the clutches for the State? It was in power in 19-20 states at one time in the recent past!
2. Why has it not brought a Uniform Civil Code, instead of a blatantly hate filled CAA?
3. Why has BJP not overhauled the Justice & Criminal Laws to provide quick & fair justice?
4. Why has the BJP not freed up farmers from state boundaries? Allowed them to sell anywhere, including export, directly?
5. Why has the BJP not carried out Labour reforms at all?
6. Why has the BJP not reformed land laws?
7. Why has the BJP not scrapped quotas and reservations?
8. Why has the BJP not released Education from the grip of the state and therefore, the politicians?
9. Why has the BJP not reformed the electoral systems, including voting anywhere with the Aadhar finger print?
10. Why has the BJP brought a most corrupt and opaque Political Bonds?
I could go on and ask another 100 questions that every Hindu in Hindusthan wants. But my limited point is, this:
1. BJP has done precious little for Hindus.
2. Change laws instead of propagating hate.
Building a Ram temple is old hat. Less than 10% of Hindus will even take note of it.
