Contrast this with what the Group English Editor of @NDTV said on Twitter” So we all think the Wikileaks story is heroic. But had Indian journos published “classified docus” many would have slammed them/us”
Indian TV Channels have a whole lifetime to go before they lap up selective leaks from GOI and their favoured political party as “Breaking News” and “Scoops”. Till then, they can be gracious enough to admit they were caught with their pants down and carry the news for the benefit of their viewers even if it embarrasses their favourite political party!
