I was wondering why the Congress GOI delayed arresting Narendra Modi’s henchman Shah considering that the CBI claimed it had all the evidence it needed back in April or earlier.
When it was announced today that the BJP was now on-board with the Congress GOI on the passing of The Nuclear Liability Act (or whatever it’s officially called) it was clear why Shah and even Modi will now go scot free. The Congress, true to its dirty tricks character, traded their being found Not Guilty – CBI is notorious for “goofing up” prosecution so that culprits go scot free – for support of the BJP in passing the Nuke Liability Act.
After languishing for months (year?) suddenly, since Obama [WTF invited him?] is to come to visit his close personal friend Man Mohan Singh, the matter has all come to a head. MMS wants it in the bag and gift wrapped by November for Obama.
Like the INC bought the Samajwadi Party’s votes in exchange for CBI dropping the cases against their leaders and got the Nuke Deal itself passed in time for George W Bush’s exit from the White House, the INC must now have struck a similar deal to pass the Nuke Liability Act in return for Modi + Shah freedom. Why else did the BJP drop their main opposition – No Cap on supplier liability?
The Bhopal Gas Tragedy hasn’t taught the INC any lessons.
The Oil Leakage off the US Coast and how THAT was handled hasn’t taught MMS any lessons, let alone changed the US attitude to US Company created disasters outside of the US
MMS must go down in Indian history as the worst PM India ever had. Accidental he says. I say Fatal Accident, for India.
And what does the Media do? Focus on diverting attention to Sangakkara’s sick instructions to deny Sehwag a century and announces it under air cover of a story sure to get India chattering! INC has total control on media anyways. “Whatever it takes” was meant to get chummy with the GOI and milk the public. Not get at the truth.
And then give themselves (TV) awards and facilitations at glittering 5-star hotels.
But the blame for this must lie with me and you, the Aam Admi. We vote and get the government we deserve. And that’s a quote, not my creation J
