England’s pique at losing out to Russia despite the Three Lions pushing it’s case for the WC is not surprising at all.
Since the days of an Empire on which the Sun never set, their steady decline is now in its death throes. And England is unraveling and naturally, less than palatable to the Brits. That too, losing to a no-show Putin. That must have hurt!
Quatar getting the following WC is perhaps the BEST of all FIFA decisions! The Arab world in general and the Muslim countries in particular have been isolated by the west for far too long.
FIFA has done the BEST it possibly could to take the game to the new world. They deserve congratulations for continuing to give the New World opportunities to develop their infrastructure and social fabric by using football as a catalyst. Well done!
Its time the likes of UK and USA recocile to the fact that the future will only get tougher for them and that the baton has already passed eastwards.
